You Are a Light in The World
You are a light in the world! Let your light shine; and even more brightly this year than ever before. The world needs the light of each person to increase because the New Era of increased cooperation is being built on the power of light, truth, righteousness and energetically enriched living. We are units of light in the greater body of Light.
You can chose to shine more by deliberately each day. It is an experiment you can try for yourself to see if this actually works. When you wake in the morning feel as if you are shining with whatever positive emotion or constructive thought is most balancing. Visualize your body, emotions and mind glistening with Light rays coming from your Guardian Angel into every area of your life. Notice how you experience the day after doing this for 3-5 days. This is an act of inspired living.
You are Light; more than a body, more than feelings, and more than thoughts. You are the spiritual being at the core of these bodies. Shine friends, shine.

Let the Child in Your Heart Come to the Kingdom of Heaven

Where is the child within you today? Give the joyful, wondrous, curious and innocent part of yourself to heaven through honoring this preciousness of who you are. Jesus was speaking to an eternal part of yourself rather than just a child as a stage of human development. He wants you to offer the simple pure, innocent and beautiful aspect of your heart up for protection from the harshness of daily life. Protect your virtues through constant expression of loving-kindness.
You are in truth a soul, but often slip into the habit of thinking as a personality. You are a spiritual being having a human experience. Much of our feeling of being stuck in ways of living which do not bring happiness come about from just such errors of mind.

Four Rules of Thumb For Successful Spiritual Living
I am asked for spiritual advise on many topics from the thousands of readers who visit my websites. It would be good to help them all but this is not possible without a real relationship with which to understand their personalities, motives for practice and history.
I can only offer generalized advise to most. There is one topic which needs to be addressed in the current marketplace of increasing books on meditation, spiritual practices, yoga methods and chanting. Additionally, many are reading books of questionable value which eventually cause confusion because the student doesn’t know who to trust.
The first rule of thumb is to study with only one teacher for at least 5-10 years or more. At first you might be shopping around like buying a car or house. This is normal, healthy and appropriate. Once you own the house, don’t keep shopping around. This sends a message to your soul, the Universe and God you are confused about what you need.
Find a spiritual teacher you trust, then stick with that spiritual teacher for long enough to experience accomplishments worthy of taking with you throughout life.
Second rule of thumb is to find a teacher who focuses on cultivating positive qualities, or virtues rather than developing psychic powers.
Why is this the case?
So called psychic powers don’t last beyond one lifetime.
Additionally, mediumship and psychic powers often get you into sticky ego based, show off situations. You might start telling people, “I am an intuitive.” “I can channel masters and spirits…” Or, the worst of all, “I can talk to the dead for you, putting you in touch with departed loved ones.” These are all ego traps, and increase human suffering in general. Let the loved ones enjoy the time after leaving the physical life. Don’t call them back to this plane of existence!
Psychic powers do not last. Virtues you take with you after passing from this world as though they were diamonds, rubies, gold and silver of the treasure chest of the soul. Virtues are the treasure of the unfolding human soul. Powers are superficial, lasting only a lifetime at best. Virtues are eternal, bringing health, happiness and long life.
I received this note recently from a fellow who is reading all kinds of psychic materials and following questionable spiritual practices encountered in books, CD’s or DVD’s:
“I see many spirits while meditating with my eyes closed but…while doing deeper meditating. While I was reading and learning more…a black cat appeared on my chair in front of me. I thought is was a shadow and looked away. Then it came closer and I saw its yellow eyes. It startled me so I looked away again, when it was right in front of the third time it really startled me. I have no idea what it means? Do you?”
Third rule of thumb is do not engage spiritual practices out of curiosity or to be able to impress yourself with how “advanced spiritually” you are. Remember that insects and most animals, including dogs and cats, can see etheric energy fields or some even lower, dark astral layers of life. This doesn’t mean they are advanced spiritually. Your senses will open when the Solar Angel, aka, Guardian Angel sees your ready to experience more. God wants you to unfold naturally. Can you imagine pulling on your 6 month old’s limbs to make them grow faster? People would think you were crazy. You psyche knows exactly how fast to grow, what to reveal and not reveal to you.
Many spiritual unhealthy practices can lead to conditions similar to mental illness, i.e., hearing voices, seeing the deceased, smelling the lower strata of the astral plane like the man who wrote me about seeing a black cat after he was meditating. These harmful spiritual practices open you up to all kinds of chaos, confusion and suffering.
Fourth rule of thumb is to remember and live this truth: There is no psychic power greater than love, kindness and compassion.
Practice loving-kindness, compassion, being joyful and serene. These states of heart-mind are far more helpful and “spiritual” than all the practices mentioned in some of the materials offered on the internet, in book stores or in local classes. Cultivation of unconditional love will transform your entire life if engaged with a pure heart.
As Mother Teresa said, “Where there is love, there is God.” I would add, where there is loving-kindness, God will reveal all psychic powers needed to serve others. Psychic powers are simply the natural growth of the soul.

Dangers of Gossip and Idle Speech
Every spiritual tradition, every spiritual teacher and all religious traditions issue warnings about the dangers of idle speech. This runs contrary to casual society and norms which most of us function within. Gossip is the harmful use of speech which weakens the aura, drains precious energy from the immune system while increasing the tendency for negativity in the mind.
There has been a tremendous amount written about bullying in the press over the past several years. Idle speech is the path to undermining the well-being of another person. There is power in your speech to either build up others, and yourself or to destroy the welfare of others. Negative words are a form of affirmation of hatred, anger, jealousy and critical thinking within yourself. If you criticize another person you are weakening yourself as well. This trend leads to a deterioration of ourselves over time.
Positive speech is an expression of loving-kindness whereas negative speech releases harmful chemical messages into the blood, breath and organs.
Master Morya puts it this way…
“Love each other; beware of disunion.
We must pay dearly for our light-mindedness and prattle.”- Master Morya.
There are very real consequences for idle, gossip or negative speech. So what are the alternatives?
Affirm your own value and that of others with words of kindness, joy, encouragement and compassion. A wise bit of insight is 1,000′s of times more powerful than attacks on someone else. If you want love, give love. If you want joy, give joy. If you wish for understand be supportive while listening to the challenges friends and family face with compassion.
Positive speech is much like mantra; it protects the mind and emotions from all forms of negative energy in the wounded aspects of your nature. To heal yourself, one of the most important tools is right speech as Lord Buddha called it.

Raleigh North Carolina Angel Casey Sasser
Monday, December 17th, 21-year-old Raleigh North Carolina angel and native, Casey Sasser, reached out in a spontaneous act of compassion and loving-kindness. She expressed a timely random act of kindness and by Paying it Forward awakened a bonfire of warmth across the nation. In just 17 hours, Casey Sasser’s random act of kindness has gone viral. Over 300,533 likes and over 3,000 and counting shares on Facebook. She has become an example of angelic kindness as well as Paying It Forward.
Casey Sasser was doing some shopping of her own at a local Raleigh Walmart during a break between her two jobs. She was in the mega-retailer Walmart to pick up some packaging tape. While Casey waited in line to pay for the packing tape behind a man with a cart full of toys, presumably for his children and family, the fellow had his credit card declined.
Ms. Sasser’s heart sank as the man started to put the toys back in his cart to return to the shelves since he couldn’t afford them. As the cashier began to ring up Casey’s purchase, she spontaneously offered to pay for what the strangers toy purchase since he couldn’t afford them.
“I knew there were children who wouldn’t have a Christmas if I didn’t help out in some way. When I looked in his eyes and saw the tears. He ended up telling me the toys were for his two little girls and how rough this year had been on him.” Sasser said.
“I can’t really explain what I felt when he hugged me but I know one thing, it was probably the best moment of my life.” Sasser wrote on Facebook.
In less than 17 hours, Casey Sasser’s random act of loving-kindness has gone viral throughout the internet. As of Wednesday, Dec 19th, at 11am, her post had over 79,000 likes and 2,000 shares which later in the day rose to 98,000 likes. That count has continued to rise rapidly since then.
“I am so touched that my story has reached out to so many people so fast. I never imagined this when I posted it.” Sasser told Clear Channel Media & Entertainment Raleigh.
The next day, Sasser’s random act of loving-kindness was unexpectedly repaid at a local gas station when a complete stranger approached her pump, paid for her gas and walked away without saying a word.
“I didn’t even get a chance to thank him. But you were much appreciated!” Sasser wrote.
The gentleman never spoke a single word, or waited for a thank you from Casey Sasser. He quickly swiped his card when her back was turned, she didn’t even see his face!
“When I realized what he had done I broke down. I knew that he was some form of a guardian angel. For him to do something for a complete stranger and not want to be recognized, overwhelmed me with emotion.” Sasser said.
Sasser says she is deeply touched by the overwhelming response she has gotten on Facebook in response to her good deed. She asks that everyone do something to help someone else, that everyone pay it forward.
“Please everyone pass the favor. If you are able, help someone in need. You could make someone’s day like they both made mine.”
The very nature of true loving-kindness is that we don’t expect gratitude, repayment or any positive karma from the act. You simply spontaneously respond to the need. Holding no expectations is the basis for Paying It Forward which is precisely what the angelic kingdom does in their acts of service. They give because it is in their nature to give as servants, care givers and beings filled with the love of God for all beings, both human and non-human. And, we give to know life as people filled with loving-kindness.

New Era Will Be Heralded by Four Signs
The New Era will be heralded by four signs:
1. Increased joy, with applications in healing, psychological therapies and mental development for all ages. Joy increases the chemical components in the physical body through endorphins and also allows intellectual energy to flow better. Additionally, joy will be found to highly charge the energetic physical body, also called the etheric body, to reduce illness or even treat disease. Joy is directly related to light energy and color.
2. Greater wisdom, balancing the personality with the soul. This will come through improvements in education of the masses, through new thought churches and by psychological workers writing about human potential. Religions with a broad access to wisdom will play a big part such as Tibetan Buddhism, forward thinking Christians, teachers like Joel Osteen and the depth psychology movement.
3. Deepening compassion for all life. Compassion is connected to our sense of oneness with others, both human and non-human, such as the animal kingdom. We are taking better care of animals in the past 100 years.
4. Expansion of consciousness in all 7 main departments of life.
Every moment the new world is being born, and the old forms are dissolving back into the Source. Welcome loving-kindness as never before with joy, expectancy and celebration. The new world approaches! Yes, yes, yes!
What will it take for the New Era to take shape more in daily life?
It requires each of us to begin making small sacrifices to help one another. It will be aided by acting locally, but thinking about the global impact of our actions. It will be necessary to think more green in our lifestyles than ever before. A healthy world comes about when your consumer decisions are motivated by great social responsibility.
Rumi said it best in the following quote where he acknowledges we must remove the barriers to love, socially speaking, in order that a more compassionate, kinder and enlightened society can deepen its roots. We have made great progress in almost every field of life in the 20th century, now we must pick up the pace even further in the 21st century. What are the barriers to social progress?
“Your task is not to seek for love, but merely to seek and find all the barriers within yourself that you have built against it.”
― Rumi
According to several masters the angels have been helping inventors, technologists, those working in medicine, physics, astronomy, agriculture, governmental leadership, human potential movements and religion to help usher in more broad thinking. According to their writings it is through inspiring new ideas and telepathic rapport with creative minds receptive to those forward thinking directions that we owe much of the progress over the years. Great masters and angels have always worked with those “in the trenches” to foster whatever is needed for the next step. They see far ahead of where we are now, knowing which develops will assist us to create a world of health, plenty and prosperity for the greatest number of humanity.
Angelic friends work with your intellectual light of mind. They are light workers of the higher order who respond to human suffering, human needs as well as prayers for a better life. The Divine Plan for our planet encompasses caring for the world’s greatest suffering while building an enlightened society fueled by love, service and goodwill. This is a practical, organic and changing vision rather than some fuzzy kind of rigid religious notion of a better world. God knows the next steps and guides creative members of our world who can make a big difference to bring forth the ways and means for meeting our practical daily needs as well as spiritual needs.
You cannot have a more loving society if people are struggling to eat, have shelter, health and well-being. The basics must be covered first prior to building a broad based series of supports for peace on Earth. Note how Christ addressed feeding people, healing and directing listeners to act in similar practical ways. His kingdom is a blend of the most high living with constructive daily life which is sustainable for all of us.

Christ Himself Transmitted the Healing Power by His Touch
Happy Christmas, Hanukkah and good wishes for celebrations during the ultimate season of love and compassion.
During the season of love and compassion, where giving and receiving takes place aplenty, it is important to remember the strengths of the Teacher without whom we would be lost. Christ gave the teachings about love so beautifully when saying, “love one another as I have loved you.” And, later He encouraged followers to “Love thy neighbor as thyself.” Such simple, profound and transforming teachings, which transcend religion, strike at the foundation of all happiness.
Everyone can make a difference in the lives of others without a huge effort. Heroes are those who act, who give of themselves selflessly, if even for just a few minutes, an hour of volunteering here and there or on a regular basis. Your light, energy, prayers, contributed money and most importantly, your actions to help someone else in need, are very important. These acts of giving create the kind of world which is sustainably more rich with blessings.
“Christ himself transmitted the healing power by his touch. He gave help in life through the heart. Thus, it must be remembered that all forced conjurations are unfit, in accordance with the law of the Lords. The heart’s prayer issues directly, even without need of the conventional canon.”

Christ became love itself, dispersing Himself in all beings. Christ is at the Heart of Humanity, the gift of love and the embodiment of pure love.
Angels, Christ and God most often act through you and I to bring about assistance to another person who is praying, calling out for and seeking aid. You are a co-worker with the angels when giving of yourselves. Angels are hard working beings just like people. It is when we work together that the kingdom of God gradually appears in the world. I like to call this practical mysticism. You don’t have to be religious or part of any faith to see the wisdom in helping others in order to create a safer, more prosperous and peaceful world.
